Shree Law Services is founded by T.Ravichandran with the objective of providing legal solutions to individuals and corporates in a timely and efficient manner. Shree Law Services is driven by a team of lawyers led by Ravi who have wide experience as independent lawyers, in house legal counsel of public sector banks, big corporates and law firms.

The lawyers of Shree Law Services have decades of experience and expertise and during their stints were called upon to advise on complex legal issues in challenging business environments. As advisors, the firm’s lawyers have represented a wide variety of commercial, industrial, institutional and individual clients, including banks, financial institutions, large and mid-sized public sector as well as private sector companies, partnerships, business groups, startups and emerging companies – national and international. Shree Law Services offer pro bono legal services for a meaningful contribution to the Society.

Shree Law Services is initially operating from Chennai with plans to spread its arms across other places in India.

Experience

Ravichandran is the founder of Shree Law Services. He has a cumulative experience of more than thirty years as a practicing Advocate, in-house legal counsel for National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Head-Legal of the Sanmar Group of companies and Senior Partner in Orbit Law Services and drove the Chennai practice.

Ravi has rich experience in litigation strategy & commercial arbitration and is known for his expertise in laws relating to corporate and regulatory compliances, environment, electricity, anti-dumping, Competition Act etc. As a practising lawyer, Ravi was representing commercial banks including Canara Bank, Federal Bank & South Indian Bank, National Insurance Company and many catholic institutions. He was a guest speaker in the training programme for the arbitrators of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.

Achievements

As a practising lawyer, Ravi was representing commercial banks including Canara Bank, Federal Bank & South Indian Bank, National Insurance Company and many catholic institutions. He was a guest speaker in the training programme for the arbitrators of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.

As an in-house legal counsel of NABARD, Ravi handled major arbitrations for NABARD and briefed Senior Counsels on various issues. He was also part of the Legal Sub-committee of the Task Force on Revitalisation of Cooperative Credit structure set up by Government of India headed by Prof. Vaidyanathan. He also represented the management of NABARD in the negotiations in the bipartite settlement with All India NABARD Employees Union and the management of NABARD.

As Head-Legal of the Sanmar Group, Ravi was responsible for managing the legal affairs of the entire Group. He handled major arbitrations for the Group and represented the Group both before Electricity Regulation Commissions, regulatory bodies and tribunals. He was also responsible for finalisation of the litigation strategy in environmental issues, land acquisition issues, civil matters, electricity matters, anti-dumping matters, insurance and competition commission matters. During his tenure in Sanmar Group. Ravi has briefed many senior counsels in the Supreme Court on diverse issues.
